    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled lead writer and editor to develop custom content for technical portions of responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), miscellaneous bids, and pre-qualifications.

    • Collaborate with the proposal team, sales and business development staff, engineering, and others to develop response strategies, proposal outlines, writing plans/storyboards, content and schedules while meeting challenging deadlines.
    • Develop persuasive, custom content as a lead writer and editor for technical portions of responses.
    • Craft executive summaries by leveraging technical insights and associated business development win strategies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assemble finished documents and coordinate proposal submission and delivery to ensure proposals are accurate.
    • Gather detailed understanding of Astroscale's solutions and engineering roadmap to compose initial technical content from scratch.
    • Write and edit technical documentation & deliverables for internal and external customers and provide technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness of content.
    • Organize configuration of text and graphics. Write, edit and proofread technical text and graphics.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3-5 years technical publications experience using industry standards to develop and revise technical documents.
    • Proficiency in computer technology/software and typing skills.
    • Strong technical writing and communication skills are required.
