**SUMMARY**
Keeps building and grounds in clean and orderly condition and participates in room setups for events by performing the following essential duties.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sweeps, scrubs, vacuums and mops surfaces including floors throughout the facility including hallways and other public areas.
Waxes and strips floors; cleans carpets, air vents, windows, glass surfaces, and interior walls.
Sweeps around chairs and steps in elevated general public seating areas.
Cleans folding chairs in elevated general public seating areas.
Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior public and seating areas.
Operates electric, propane or gasoline powered equipment designed to perform certain duties.
Notifies management concerning need for repairs.
Performs setups throughout the facility by moving furniture such as stacks of chairs, various sizes of tables and other items individually or on a cart designed to move multiple pieces at one time.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Supervises seasonal employees during live race meets.
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
G.E.D. or High school diploma; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
