    *Job Summary*
    Our office is growing again We have a wonderful office with an emphasis on employee satisfaction and work/life balance. We are looking for a 3rd hygienist to add to our practice This is a new position. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience. Both of our current hygienists are wonderful, kind and experienced. Adult recare is 60 minutes, new patients are 60 minutes(no prophy) or 90 minutes if a healthy mouth cleaning is expected. Hygienists dictate time needed for SRP appointments.
    The staff is all tenured and experienced across all departments. We are looking for the right fit in regards to personality.

    We have an excellent benefit package-no waiting periods for health insurance, PTO, or holiday pay. The benefit package is available will be available upon interview.

    *Responsibilities*

    * Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing procedures to maintain oral health.
    * Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations.
    * Assist with chairside procedures such as medical imaging, cavity detection, and applying fluoride treatments.
    * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
    * Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using Open Dental
    * Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization processes.
    * Monitor and record vital signs and medical information relevant to dental treatment.
    * Review medical records for completeness and accuracy; assist with medical coding when necessary.
    * Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times.
    * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care delivery.

    *Skills*

    * Proficiency in Open Dental
    * Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
    * Knowledge of medical imaging techniques used in dentistry.
    * Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical coding, and documentation review processes.
    * Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication abilities.
    * Understanding of general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry nuances.
    * Ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control standards in a fast-paced environment.     Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
