    Description of Work



    The Food Service Assistant will in our Nutritional Services Department and will function as an assistant to higher level food service personnel in different areas of the kitchen. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to prepping, cooking, baking, meat cutting and clean-up operations. Position will serve meals, snacks, follow recipes and schedules, complete basic sanitation skills and cook/bake side items. Position will also wash dishes including large commercial pot and pans, and clean area as assigned by mopping, scrubbing and wiping work areas.

    Normal working hours are 40 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled.

    Longleaf Neuro Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC) is a certified Medicare and Medicaid facility nursing home that provides a continuum of care to both adults with severe and persistent mental illness that also have long-term medical conditions requiring residential, medical and nursing care, and to adults with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or other related dementia. LNMTC facilitates high quality skilled and intermediate nursing care throughout four Nursing Unit Floors and an Alzheimer's Unit that operates 24 hours seven days a week, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
