    Duties


    • You will read blueprints and make corrections and changes on record drawings for buildings, grounds, and utilities.
    • You will inspect utility systems, buildings, equipment, plans, and grounds for effective and economical operation to locate facility deficiencies.
    • You will provide complete range of technical services in support of the fuel department's comprehensive facility SRM program and provides consultation to the operating supervisors.
    • You will perform research, development, layout, and coordination of revision/repairs/maintenance of fuel transfer systems.
    • You will apply and integrate Total Quality Principals to achieve continuous and measurable process improvement in the workplace

    You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

    Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level in the federal service applying principals, concepts and methods of facility operations and material requirements to perform administrative work that involves operating, inspecting and maintaining facilities that consist of fuel equipment and systems, mobile refueling assets, utility systems, roads, buildings and grounds
    Experience participating in the coordination and planning of facility related sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) projects to include inventory management, facilities engineering support, project development, terminal operations and management oversight and/or petroleum quality assurance
    Utilizing federal acquisitions and financial regulatory policies and procedures to perform cost benefit analysis, planning and budgeting for assigned projects
    Examples of specialized experience may include; 1) Provide technical services in support of a fuel department's facility SRM program and provide consultation to operating supervisors
    2) Develop plan, specifications, acquisitions strategies, and budgetary requirements for facilities maintenance requirements
    3) Identify and recommend improvements to the maintenance and repair program of facilities used for supply and logistics operations and logistics equipment in those facilities
    4)

    Evaluate project risk, identifies mitigating factors and resolve problems associated with programming and scheduling of major/minor construction and maintenance projects, technical services and fuel facilities; Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:
