    Role Objective


    The role of the Production Manager is to guide the daily functions of the facility, with a focus on enhancing safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

    This role involves strategizing and allocating tasks, implementing policies and procedures, and suggesting enhancements in production techniques, equipment, operational procedures, and working conditions.

    Primary Duties

    Leads supervisors and workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to perform their roles safely and efficiently.
    Oversees all production and packaging operations within the manufacturing site.
    Generates and reviews all reports related to production, safety, and quality.
    Assists supervisors in identifying areas for improvement and assigns tasks or training to facilitate their development.
    Ensures the produced goods meet the required specifications and comply with the quality systems, processes, and procedures.
    Identifies and implements strategies for cost reduction, quality assurance, and production enhancement.
    Collaborates with Planning and Operations team members to discuss production schedules and necessary schedule modifications.
    Ensures employees utilize problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions to production issues.
    Works in close coordination with the Scheduling department to optimize the company's overall performance, including customer service.
    Tracks, measures, and reports on performance related to production.
    Conducts meetings with employees as needed.
    Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.

    Required Skills and Experience

    Minimum of 7 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
    Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
    Experience with Lean, TPM, Six Sigma is preferred.
    Prior experience in a world-class manufacturing environment is required, with a proven track record.
    Comprehensive understanding of FDA, USDA, GMP, and HACCP Regulations and Principles.
    Strong leadership skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with line employees at the plant floor level.
    Flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional weekend hours, to support plant operations.

    Qualifications/Preferences

    Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
    Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering).


    Salary Range:
    $100,000 - $120,000

    Working Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
