    The Opportunity:

    We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. You'll play a vital role in driving new business growth through a strategic blend of marketing, sales, and customer account management activities as well as interfacing across with strategy inputs with acquisitions and manufacturing initiatives. This is a commission-based role with a base salary package to provide a strong foundation for your earnings potential.

    Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:

    Marketing and Lead Generation:

    • Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns around a cohesive strategy and message to generate qualified leads across various channels (digital, print, trade shows, etc.).
    • Manage and optimize platform online presence, including website content, social media engagement, and search engine optimization (SEO).
    • Research and identify new market opportunities and potential customers – new market development with contract manufacturing emphasis.
    • Explore ways to drive organic growth via penetration, NPI and pricing optimization.
    • Work with operations team to understand capacity and best opportunities to pursue.

    Sales and Lead Nurturing:

    • Oversee opportunity pipeline and manage funnel. Work with quoting to generate quotes and proposals to win targeted work.
    • Qualify leads, build relationships, and convert them into paying customers through effective communication and presentations. Drive contract based or LTA work, and work with leadership on securing commitments.
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals tailored to specific customer needs.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and pricing strategies to position our offerings competitively and differentiate.
    • Find customer pain points and help develop solutions that resonate.

    Account Management:

    • Manage assigned customer accounts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring ongoing satisfaction with operations team.
    • Proactively identify current customer needs and recommend solutions that contribute to their success, including looking for new opportunities to provide service.
    • Manage customer expectations throughout the NPI project lifecycle and ensure clear communication through launch to production.

    What Makes You a Perfect Fit:

    • You have to be hungry to win and grow, act with integrity and be consistent.
    • You've got a Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or similar. This is our ideal, but it's your drive that truly matters. Technical/Engineering background preferred.
    • You bring to the table 3+ years of B2B sales/marketing ("commercial") success in a manufacturing environment (machining ideal), especially in a commission-rich environment, preferably with services.
    • Digital marketing prowess? Lead generation genius? We're looking for both. Able to build an opportunity funnel and manage new opportunities.
    • Able to oversee various commercial support entities including external contractors, freelancers, and teams.
    • Your communication skills are second to none, with a knack for cold calling, engagements, initial negotiation and presentations.
    • A multitasking wizard, you're adept at juggling multiple accounts and opportunities with grace. 80/20 lens – able to actively manage time to accounts by A, B, C breakdown.
    • Fluent in Microsoft Suite and CRM tools, with a keen interest in manufacturing and machining processes.
