Description

This is a full time on role for a Head Grower.

The Head Grower will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant production including transplanting, watering, fertilizing, pest management, and quality control.

They will oversee a team of growers and provide guidance and training as needed. The Head Grower will also collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and maintain inventory levels.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of horticulture and plant production
• Experience in greenhouse operations and managing plant growth environments.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a team.
• Experience in pest and disease management
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and fertilization techniques
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Certifications in horticulture or related field are a plus.
