    In this role you can expect to support and actively engage in company growth, goals and objectives as it relates to the 1-year plan, 3-year picture and 10-year goal. Our ideal candidate will thrive on helping to build strategic plans for the Information Technology Team (including, ERP system, network, phone, telepresence, technology equipment, supplier management, etc.). You will also direct and coordinate operational activities, lead a team and company in technology improvements, create improvements in efficiency, buy in, and Information Technology support.

    Key Responsibilities

    People:

    • Lead, manage and create/maintain accountability of the IT team.
    • Oversee and participate in conducting system aligned comprehensive Technology Training For all employees
    • Facilitate assignment/process of Desktop Support Requests to internal staff or Suppliers.
    • Develop professional growth opportunities for team members.
    • Ensure all IT staff follows all safety policies, procedures and protocols at all times.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

    Strategy:

    • Ensure quarterly team rocks are supporting company 1 year plan, 3-year picture and 10-year goal.
    • Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that includes preserving assets, back-up procedures, information security, and control structures which will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis.
    • Use Continuous Improvement Model of Lean Management for staff to follow all standards and updates or establish new standards.
    • Responsible for balancing the use of internal staff and outside suppliers for 24-hour 7 day a week system uptime.
    • Use and oversee team use of Project Management tools for key technology and strategic team rocks.
    • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
    • Manage team annual budget and ensures cost effectiveness.

    Technology:

    • Monitor changing network, equipment, software technology & deliver technology updates to the Finance Director
    • Oversee ongoing system maintenance, performance evaluations, upgrades, restructures, and network.
    • Make recommendations for system improvements to improve effectiveness of technological systems.
    • Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
    • Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.

    Other:

    • Responsible for maintaining clean and safe work environment.
    • Responsible for other duties as deemed necessary by management.
    • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
    • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Technology Field
    • Successful team leadership experience (minimum of 5 years preferred)
    • Strategic thinker
    • Excels in executing, managing, completing and follow up of projects
    • Works well under pressure, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Effective at issue resolution
    • Experience and good understanding of the professional services environment
