NeuroSpine Plus (NSP) is looking for a Bilingual(Spanish) very friendly, but strong personality to join our team as a central scheduler/patient care specialist in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary medical practice. Come join our fast-growing team. Someone with great customer service need apply; our practice is patient focused and expect a high level of service. Fluency in Spanish is a REQUIREMENT. We are in need of an experienced health care professional to help coordinate patient care at our facility. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that medical records are accurate and complete, scheduling appointments and communicating with patients prior to their visit.
Responsibilities:

1. Schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients


2. Register new patients and update necessary records


3. Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately


4. Filing, faxing and other miscellaneous front desk tasks


5. Experience of multiple types of insurances, referral and authorization process preferred


6. Excellent oral and written communication skills


7. Computer proficiency (Scanning, uploading, downloading, document transfer)


8. Answer multi-line telephones


9. Exhibit patience and compassion


10. Ability to prioritize tasks properly


11. Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family.


12. Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.


13. Work as part of a team.


14. Gather and document patient's information.
