    BNY Mellon Treasury Services is looking to add an experienced, organized, creative member to our Proposals & Due Diligence Response team In the role of Proposal & Due Diligence Senior Associate, you'll partner with Executives, Relationship Managers, and Business Development leads to prepare high-quality proposal and due diligence responses that support our growth initiatives across all regions and industry segments.

    This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY.

    In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

    Contributes to business revenue goals by generating compelling proposal responses and presentations for clients globally, across industries.
    Coordinates clear, succinct responses to client due diligence requests (DDQs) working in partnership with experts across the business
    Manages proposal and DDQ responses end-to-end, working in both independently and in an team environment
    Creates persuasive client facing presentations and other client-facing materials
    Contributes to overall success of proposals and presentations through proposal drafting and research, writing effective executive summaries and creating client presentations that effectively showcase Treasury Services and BNY Mellon as a leading service provider
    Conducts legal/business reviews for all potential projects. May participate in final go/no-go deliberation
    Utilizes tracking tools and project plans to track all relevant project information throughout the project lifecycle, including maintaining accurate data for report generation

    Coordinates with internal business partners to research and gather information necessary to prepare a responsive submission to the assigned RFPs and DDQs.

    Anticipates compliance, legal, or regulatory review required for response and works with more senior staff to address
    May assist in developing and refining the proposal and due diligence process and assist in the creation of standard library content
    Works closely with the business development or relationship management team to clarify proposal requirements in conjunction with the client

    To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

    Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required
    3-5 years of total work experience in financial services preferred, knowledge of Treasury Services a plus
    Experience in proposal development and due diligence response preferred
    Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign, and SharePoint
    Strong copywriting and document/presentation design skills preferred
    Strong organizational, project management and time management skills required
    PMP certification a plus
    Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines at any given time in a fast-paced environment
    Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement to drive efficiencies and optimal client experience
    Ability to work independently and make fact-based decisions while holding project stakeholders accountable
    Experience using proposal management software preferred

    BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees.

    The base salary for this position is expected to be between $56,000 and $98,000 per year at the commencement of employment.

    However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

    This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
