    Pan American Ceramics By Merola Tile Team

    This role would be supporting our Pan American Ceramics by Merola Tile team, located in Mira Loma, California.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the quality of all different samples. Inspecting the tile for imperfections, making sure grout lines are straight, ensuring all cuts are accurate and consistent, and all samples are properly labeled and customer ready
    • Responsible for all aspects of Sample Board Production
    • Efficiently plans layout of board, determines layout properly represents tile pattern, and generates reasonable cuts
    • Verify that appropriate labels are placed neatly on the back of the sample
    • Organize, stock, and maintain sample and company inventory
    • Assembles various showroom displays
    • Responsible for all aspects of Order Fulfillment including picking/packing/shipping and replenishment of inventory
    • Maintain neat and organized locations
    • Pack materials in an envelope, box, or pallet and ensure materials are safe and secure for shipping to arrive in brand new perfect condition
    • Build sample display pallets confirming material is safely strapped, wrapped, and secured to pallet
    • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize department or company procedures
    • Work closely with internal sales representatives
    • Perform other assigned duties as necessary and required.

    Qualifications, Skills, and Education:

    To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities valued by the company.

    • No degree necessary High School preferred
    • Ability to read, understand/comprehend, and write in English
    • Prior warehouse experience preferred
    • Basic knowledge and use of hand and power tools, including tape measure, scissors, glue guns, drills, and saws
    • Basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
    • Effectively work independently and on a team
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. several times during the shift.
    • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions.
    • Must be able to read and write in English.
    • Frequently work in environments with extreme temperatures.
