    Department/Position Overview:


    The Advanced Imaging Center at Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex provides a convenient, modern option to outpatient radiology procedures, with the latest technology and staff radiologists who offer sub-specialist expertise.

    Every detail, from the facility's design to personnel training, focuses on patient comfort, convenience and reassurance.

    In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for:
    Responsible for the order entry processCommunication and guest relationsMedical record maintenance/analysisResponsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical dutiesDemonstrate competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education :High School Grad or EquivalentLicenses and Certifications:Basic Life SupportExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical environment preferredSkills: Communication, Critical Thinking, Microsoft Office, Speaking, Technology/Computer, WritingKeywords: Indeed-medical assistants, medical administrative assistants; Talroo -allied healthJob SummaryResponsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties.

    Demonstrates competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats.

    Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered with a minimum of 3 years experience in a medical environment preferred.
