    Job Responsibilities

    This is position is located in Babynet, Greenville County.


    Are you the One? We are looking for an EEMS BabyNet Coordinator who will be responsible for conducting an eligibility evaluation that includes but not limited to; detailed interviews, history taking, observation, and assessment/evaluation in order to make an eligibility determination for the BabyNet program.

    This process must occur within 25 days of the referral date. Promotes program awareness within the community.

    The holder of this position may be eligible to telecommute.

    If telecommuting is approved by management, the employee will be required to maintain all accuracy and timeliness standards as well as meeting individual goals.

    If accuracy and timeliness standards are not maintained, and individual goals are not met the telecommuting assignment will end.


    • Meets with referred clients to complete the BabyNet eligibility evaluation and determination process within the required timeframes established. Enters information into the system of record to process eligibility decisions. Completes the transfer of eligible children to the appropriate ongoing service coordination providers.
    • Meets with scheduled clients to conduct the required number of BabyNet eligibility determination meetings per week/month/quarter.
    • Completes forms and data systems to update and maintain current, complete, and accurate documentation in the BabyNet Educational records (BRIDGES and ONBASE) following current BabyNet procedures.
    • Documentation entered into all information systems timely.
    • BabyNet eligibility evaluations are completed with the client in its entirety in a professional, courteous manner.
    • Adheres to HIPAA, and all federal and state laws regarding privacy, accountability, and reporting instances of lack of compliance properly and timely. Maintains a professional demeanor and communication style, ensuring that communication and interactions with co-workers, supervisors, and beneficiaries is clear, polite, and concise. Participates in customer service and privacy training. Does not breach or otherwise disclose confidential agency, beneficiary, or personnel information and uses appropriate and secured methods of communicating confidential information.
    • Attends meetings and training sessions as required. Makes and keeps schedules, completes tasks timely and reports to work timely. Maintains awareness of and complies with all agency policies, to include privacy, confidentiality, standards of conduct, and performance.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.

    Minimum and Additional Requirements


    A bachelor's degree in Child Development, Education, Family and Consumer Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Human Services, or other closely related field and one (1) year relevant program experience with children birth to five (5) years old.


    Additional Requirements:

    • Lifting requirements: 20 lbs.
    • Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
    Preferred Qualifications


    • Knowledgeable of early childhood development.
    • Effective communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with inter and intra agency staff and public and private groups. Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Should exemplify professionalism at all times and contribute to good teamwork practices and overall success of the Division.
    • Should be able to gather information, identify a need, make decisions, and respond appropriately.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Responsible for adhering to all applicable federal, state, Departmental, Federal Education Record Protection ACT (FERPA), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) rules and regulations.
    • Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
