    About the Program

    The Transitional Foster Care Program for Unaccompanied Children ensures the well-being and safety of unaccompanied children who cross the US Southern border without an adult.

    Our approach involves placing children in foster homes while searching for potential sponsors in the US. We provide medical care, case management, life skills classes, and mental health services during their stay.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage large amounts of information effectively, ensuring data confidentiality and accuracy.
    • Input text-based and numerical information from source documents/databases within time limits.
    • Compile, sort, and verify data accuracy, comparing entered data against source documents as needed.
    • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
    • Apply data program techniques and procedures, generating reports and storing completed work in designated locations.
    • Maintain confidentiality, respond to queries for information, and access relevant files.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 3-5 years of progressive experience.
    • Bilingual- English / Spanish required.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based databases.
    • Excellent attention to detail and research skills.
