    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Paramedic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing immediate medical care and treatment to oilfield workers in West Texas who sustain injuries on the job. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting occupational testing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    - Conduct thorough assessments of injuries and illnesses, including initial stabilization and treatment, while adhering to established medical protocols and guidelines.

    - Administer first aid, perform advanced life support procedures, and coordinate with medical facilities for further treatment as required.

    - Utilize telemedicine capabilities to remotely assess and provide medical guidance to oilfield workers in non-emergency situations.

    - Conduct occupational testing, including pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and health assessments, in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

    - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all treatments, evaluations, and testing conducted.

    - Collaborate with other medical professionals, safety personnel, and supervisors in the oilfield industry to ensure effective communication and coordination of medical services.

    - Stay updated on industry best practices, medical advancements, and regulatory changes related to oilfield worker health and safety.

    Requirements

    Working Conditions
    • Rotational shift work (14/14 or 28/28)
    • Willingness to work overtime, additional shifts, weekends and holidays per XMD request and client approval.
    • May require extensive travel.
    Qualifications:

    - Valid certification as a Paramedic, EMT-P.

    - Minimum of [2] years of experience as a Paramedic, preferably with experience in remote or industrial settings.

    - Proficiency in providing emergency medical care, including advanced life support techniques.

    - Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, specifically related to the oilfield industry.

    - Experience conducting occupational testing such as physical and drug testing.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with oilfield workers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.

    - Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.

    - Proficient in using telemedicine technologies and electronic medical records systems.
