    Job Description

    Job DescriptionSalary:

    We are currently hiring for a professional with the following credentials:

    • Psychiatric-Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN)
    • Psychiatric ARNP
    • Graduated from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs or its successor organization.

    Must have:

    • Bilingual: Preferred but not required (Haitian Creole, Spanish, or Portuguese)
    • Experience working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults
    • Graduated from an accredited nursing school with a master's or doctoral degree in psychiatric nursing.
    • Hold a national advanced practice certification as a psychiatric mental health advanced practice nurse.
    • 2 years of post-master's clinical experience under the supervision of a physician.
    • Licensed in the State of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
    • Skills in psychiatric assessment, evaluation, medication management, treatment planning and medical/psych intervention, Required
    • Staying compliant on all trainings, Required
    • Clear Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprint Screening and Drug Test, Required


    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with MAHCS staff as clinical inquiries occur
    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
    • Provide medication management and consultations, stabilization, discharge planning, and continued involuntary placement hearings
    • Properly documenting services in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, including orders, labs, order authentication and e-prescribing
    • Addressing all client/family concerns in a professional and compassionate way
