    Description

    Fall River Health Services is in search of an LPN to join the team in Hot Springs, South Dakota for a dynamic care environment. As an LPN in this position, you'll deliver essential nursing care to residents, contributing significantly to their well-being.

    Here's what you'll be expected to do:

    • Directly oversee Nursing Assistants.
    • Coordinate resident care, in consultation with the Director of Nursing/Charge Nurse.
    • Adhere to facility policies, ensuring resident care aligns with established standards.
    • Execute nursing duties according to physician orders and department protocols.
    • Contribute to nursing assessments, care planning, and intervention implementation.
    • Facilitate communication with physicians and families, ensuring resident needs are met.
    • Administer medications as prescribed, maintaining accurate records.
    • Uphold safety and infection control measures, contributing to a secure environment.
    • Act as a primary contact person during shifts and supervise resident assistants effectively.

    Requirements:

    Education equivalent to licensure standards in addition to an active and unencumbered license in South Dakota. This includes current licensure, temporary permits, endorsement applications, or LPN exam pursuit for recent graduates.
