- Join our diverse surgical team specializing in Trauma, Colorectal, Surgical Critical Care, and Burn treatments.
- Physicians must be board-eligible or board-certified and possess ATLS certification. We are open to considering applications from new graduates or seasoned professionals. Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training in Surgery/Critical Care. An interest in trauma care is essential.
- Expect to handle trauma calls approximately 6-8 times with 24-hour in-house shifts per month.
- As a Physician at OSF Surgical Group- Rockford, you will benefit from a solid referral network provided by OSF Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Care physicians, OSF Cardiologists, as well as a well-established regional referral base within our 13-hospital healthcare system.
- Work at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a 254-bed Regional Medical Center and tertiary care facility known for delivering quality patient-centered care. Our center holds the designation of a State of Illinois Level 1 trauma center (American College of Surgeons Level 2) and is equipped with state-of-the-art operative tools, 2 daVinci surgical robots, and a hybrid suite.
- Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
- Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and necessary privileges.
- Eligibility as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Meet all prerequisites to engage in OSF's professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if relevant.
- Shows proficiency in the knowledge and skills required to offer patient care tailored to the preferences, objectives, and requirements of the patients served.
