    • Park Elementary School, within the Le Sueur-Henderson Public School District, is seeking an Early Childhood Paraprofessional. This position will work with preschool and early childhood families in our preschool and ECFE classrooms.
    Job Summary:
    • Assist teachers in the delivery of early childhood programming. The position would be 25-35 hours a week.
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Work effectively with students and staff; cooperative working style and good organizational skills.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Assist preschool teacher with delivery of lesson plans
    • Perform a variety of instructional support such as photocopying materials, cutting, gluing, mixing paint, or sharpening pencils.
    • Set up room as necessary for class
    • Take out all supplies needed for teacher planned activities
    • Clean up after class
    • Converse politely with children
    • Assist with early childhood special events
    • Attend and help with preschool open house before school begins as well as preschool round-up in March
    • Monitor children to support district-wide behavioral expectations
    • Proctor assessments as requested
    • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
    • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position
