    Description

    About the job:

    The company is seeking a Senior IT Business System Analyst – Billing to join the Finance Technology team. The chosen candidate will take charge of managing the technology requirements of the Finance Division. In this role, you will lead in identifying system requirements for PURE's Billing system and other integrated financial systems. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively interacting with end users to gather and document requirements, perform analysis, and support the execution of various small enhancements and projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage requirements, collaborate with IT Project Leads and business stakeholders.
    • Support IT Project Leads and facilitate agile ceremonies.
    • Assist with production support during critical downtimes and releases.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of property and casualty insurance work experience.
    • Experience in leading personal lines IT property and casualty insurance projects.
    • Knowledge of billing platforms, preferably with experience in Duck Creek Billing.
    • Experience with 3rd party integrations and interfaces.
    • Proficiency in XML, SQL Server, and metadata-driven policy administration systems.
    • Understanding of emerging technology trends.
    • Familiarity with data concepts and transformation across platforms.
    • Ability to innovate and offer solutions independently.
    • Strong consensus-building and communication skills.

    Prior consulting experience is preferred, along with familiarity in insurance billing and finance. Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies is also beneficial. Some weekend or late-night work may be required for scheduled system releases.
