    Job Description

    Joint & Spine, located in Waldwick, NJ, has been dedicated to enhancing the well-being of patients for nearly three decades. As a leading provider of chiropractic and physical therapy services, we are excited to expand our team by welcoming a full-time Patient Care Coordinator.

    We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic self-starters with a solid grasp of front desk operations in a private practice environment.

    Prior experience in a medical office is beneficial, although we are open to training the right candidate with expertise in insurance procedures, multitasking, and exceptional client support.

    In this role, your responsibilities will include:
    • Welcoming patients and visitors warmly and professionally
    • Handling phone calls, text messages, and emails with courtesy and efficiency
    • Checking in patients and ensuring appointment statuses are up to date
    • Checking out patients and scheduling follow-up appointments
    • Managing the appointment schedule effectively
    • Rescheduling cancellations and no-shows
    • Organizing patient charts for the following day
    • Creating new patient charts
    • Collecting co-pays and outstanding balances
    • Maintaining accurate patient records and insurance details
    • Assisting in maintaining office cleanliness and handling laundry
    • Monitoring front office supplies inventory
    • Generating and reviewing daily close-out reports for accuracy
    • Updating daily statistics
    • Performing other assigned duties
    Our ideal candidate will possess:

    • Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues
    • Proficiency in using computers and previous experience with electronic medical records systems
    • Experience in managing multiple phone lines
    • Outstanding customer service abilities
    • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
    • Problem-solving capabilities

    Schedule: Monday to Friday, AM and PM shifts, with rotating Saturdays

    Experience: 1 year in a medical office (Preferred)

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
