    General Information

    Robotic Welder
    Located in Mentor
    $17-$27/hour based on previous experience.
    1 st working 5am - 230pm, Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays
    2 nd shift working 3pm - 130am, Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays
    Contract to Hire opportunity with the company.


    As the Robotic Weld Operator you would be responsible for operating a robotic weld machine and adding MIG welds manually.

    Duties/Responsibilities
    Perform manual welding tasks and operate a Motoman Robotic Welder.
    Load raw material (sheet and plates) with assistance of overhead crane onto equipment and/or fixtures.
    Enter programs into controller, verify setup is complete and cycle welding sequence.
    Ruse predetermined weld settings and processes.
    Review first part and obtain production approval by completing first piece inspection using engineering drawings and inspection reports.
    Complete production run and perform manual MIG welding as needed.
    Visually inspect welds as well as using various testing equipment.
    Complete required documentation.

    Skills/Qualifications
    Must be a competent MIG welder.
    Previous experience working with a robotic welding machine.
    Able to read blueprints or other engineering drawings.
    Basic math and computer skills.
    Sheet metal working background preferred.
    High School Diploma or GED, required.
    Will be subject to other pre-employment screening.
