    Position: K-12 Technology Integration Specialist

    Supervision: Reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent

    Terms of Employment: 184 days

    Salary: Based upon Teacher Pay Scale as established by the Board of School Trustees

    Qualifications: Valid Indiana Teaching License

    At least five years of successful teaching experience

    Master's Degree in Education or Degree in Technology Education Preferred

    Technology Coaching Experience in a School Setting Preferred

    Duties:
    1. Assist with short-term and long-term technology integration planning and implementation in conjunction with the district and building leaders
    2. Oversee K-12 classroom iPads and other corporation issued devices including training staff on use.
    3. Support and implement software usage as needed to support instruction and assessment.
    4. Develop and provide formal training sessions on technology integration in the classroom.
    5. Observe teachers in their classrooms and offer insights for the enhancement of teaching-learning situations.
    6. Model technology integration in the classroom and coach teachers with technology integration.
    7. Demonstrate and facilitate the use of research-based technology integration strategies and best practices to address the needs of teachers, students and school goals.
    8. Share resources and responsible use of artificial intelligence as a tool to assist both students and staff
    9. Support the implementation of local, state and national assessment including IREAD, ILEARN, SAT, NWEA, Amplify, etc.
    10. Assist technology department with troubleshooting on occasion
    11. Collaborate with building principals in developing "best practices" training programs.
    12. Assist in program revisions based upon evaluation data.
    13. Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and ethical standards to advance the mission, goals, and policies of the Greenfield-Central CSC.
    14. Assist Corporation Librarian in matching media resources with classroom technology integration needs.
    15. Establish, maintain and enhance effective communication with administrators, teachers, parents and other stakeholders.
    16. Performs all other duties as assigned.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
    • Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiation of instruction based upon student learning styles.
    • Knowledge of curriculum and concepts.
    • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence in the educational landscape
    • Ability to be versatile and flexible in working with grades PreK-12 (both staff and students) and learn new information in an ever changing field.
    • Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
    • Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
    • Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
    • Ability to organize and coordinate work.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
    • Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
    • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
    • Ability to carry 25 lbs.
    • Ability to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations.
    • Ability to see for the purpose of reading laws and codes, rules and policies and other printed matter.
    • Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
    • Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation.
    • Ability to operate office equipment.
    • Ability to reach in all directions.
