- Oversee the US, France, and China accounting teams, including their training, and supervision.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls and reporting systems to ensure IPO readiness.
- Actively drive efficiency through automation and streamlining accounting processes.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial statements (US GAAP & IFRS consolidated) including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting, propose cost optimization strategies and monitor variances.
- manage payroll in conjunction with the provider.
- Support the HR team with benefit enrollment and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
- Build strong internal and external partnerships for collaboration and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a controller role preferably in the Biotech industry.
- Big 4 background preferred.
- Strong understanding of US (GAAP) and financial reporting standards, exposure to IFRS preferred.
- Proven experience in managing accountants and experience with payroll and benefit desired.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing/maintaining accounting systems and developing reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Proficient in accounting software and experience, with NetSuite preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Can work at the office for a minimum of four days per week.

Job Description
We are searching for a seasoned and highly effective Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This role will report directly to the VP Finance and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations.
