The UNM Health Sciences Center, Division of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Preventive Medicine (EBPM) is in the Department of Internal Medicine.
The Preventive Medicine Residence Program is part of the Division, and currently includes 3 full time faculty, and 4 residents.
The EBPM faculty members actively conduct independent research serving as PIs or Co-PIs. The Division faculty collaborate closely with many UNM Departments and Centers including the Comprehensive Cancer Center ), the Clinical and Translational Science Center ), the three NIH-Funded Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence, Project ECHO ), and the Southwest NIDA Clinical Trials Node ), among many others.
