Job summary
The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning organizing developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations that govern our facility.You will participate in developing maintaining and updating written policies procedures manuals etc.,
Ensure reference material maintained at nurses' stations is current,
Ensure nursing personnel are following their respective job descriptions,
Review nurses' notes to determine if care plans are being followed,
, Monitor medication passes treatment schedules ensure medications are being administered as ordered treatments provided as scheduled.,
Duties include but not limited to:
- Assist Director of Nursing Services in planning developing organizing implementing evaluating directing day-to-day functions nursing service department.
- Maintain accurate records reports necessary administrative duties.
- Evaluate resident needs develop implement plan care resident.
