Location:: Westlake TX or Durham, NC Hybrid ( 5 days onsite , 3 weeks remote)

The Team

• The Database Administration team supports the database platform on Db2 z/OS along with replication of data across Db2 and Oracle databases. The team also supports Cloud based data technologies such as Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and Aerospike. The team engages in activities starting with the physical design of the database infrastructure leading up to and beyond deployment such as replication, performance review, tuning as well as security.

The Expertise You Have

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Expertise in distributed technologies including in cloud such as Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large sophisticated Database Environment
• Database Design
• Extensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOL
• Experience in Qrep and IIDR replication products
• Working knowledge of CA Database Tools
• Expertise in CI/CD utilities such as TerraForm and Jenkins Core technologies
• Expertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO, KMS/CMK,PG, PHZ,VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS, CloudWatch, DMS, etc.
