- Assist with creation and/or updating department SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Support and work in collaboration with the TMXR team to further organize and develop key programs designed to support Altair's team members.
- Work with the TMXR team to research best practices, develop possible new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement of the department's initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for events and meetings.
- Research topics currently pertinent to support of our team members.
- Communicate with managers and leaders in the organization, to support projects in development.
- Human Resources; Communication; Business Management/Analysis; Organizational Development; or related field
- Working knowledge of Excel, for use of documentation and analysis of data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate confidently, effectively, and professionally across all departments and levels of the organization as well as externally, if needed
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effectively plan, coordinate, and execute company meeting events and global training sessions
- Self-motivated, approachable, adaptable, proactive, and collaborative
- 3.25 GPA level or higher

POSITION SUMMARY:We're looking for an intern to support Altair's Team Member Experience Resources (HR) department this summer. This individual needs to be someone who understands the importance of serving Altair's team members, who are TMXR's internal customers and stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The TMXR intern will:
Candidate must be a junior/senior level undergraduate in good standing pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, or at any level of a master's program.
WORK/PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
Office setting and/or home office work environment. Intern must be able to operate standard office equipment. Intern spends substantial amounts of time working on the computer, in meetings, and/or on the phone, often times under deadlines.
