    Safe Fleet is seeking Welders

    Hours:
    Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, possible overtime during the week.

    This position is primarily responsible for lay out, fit and fabricate steel metal components to assemble parts.


    Perform Aluminum and MIG Steel Welding operations on a standard/repetitive line of steel products as well as custom/non-standard products following prescribed procedures.

    Place, fit and arrange appropriate parts in proper positions on welding fixture to ensure correct dimension tolerance.

    Must be able to adjust and regulate welding equipment to obtain best possible penetration, fill, weld quality, performance, and the appearance of products within prescribed standards.

    Perform first piece and in-process inspection on all work completed.
    Basic computer skills.
    Able to work overtime and weekends.

    High school diploma or GED required with Vocational Training and/or Technical Education a plus.
    Two or more years of experience of Steel Welding preferred.
