    Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Osage Beach, MO


    Join our dynamic healthcare team as an OB Hospitalist and make a meaningful impact on women's health in the Osage Beach area.

    This essential role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized obstetric care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and babies alike.

    As a locum physician, you will be at the forefront of patient care, managing OB triage, unassigned gynecological emergencies, and deliveries, while collaborating with hospital-employed CNMs and APCs.

    Your expertise will support a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and maintaining patient safety.


    Required Skills:
    Valid medical license and current board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
    Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, including deliveries and emergency management
    Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Proficiency with Meditech Expanse EMR system
    Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
    Flexibility to handle a dynamic caseload with approximately 13+ patient encounters per day


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience in OB triage and gynecological emergencies
    Prior work in hospitalist or inpatient OB settings
    BLS and ACLS certifications
    Knowledge of rural healthcare dynamics


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
    Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
    Current MO medical license or ability to obtain licensure promptly


    Other Requirements:
    Availability to start on 12/31/2025
    Ability to work on-site at the hospital, including call and on-call duties
    Travel and licensure reimbursement, when applicable
    Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
