Position Number Position Function Under supervision, perform work in electronics and instrument repair complying with appropriate regulations and codes. Minimum Education 1.High School graduate or equivalent (GED).

Minimum Experience 1.Successful completion of an apprenticeship program in Electronics as approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training or five (5) years of experience in the electronics trade, or equivalent combination of five (5) years education and experience from which comparable job knowledge can be acquired as determined by Ball State University.

2.Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and university policies, procedures, and communications, and to perform mathematical calculations.

3.Must possess and maintain a valid Drivers License and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.
4.Must be able to perform all mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty.
5.You must be 18 years or older. Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Preferred Education 1.Vocational School Training. Preferred Experience 1. Experience with fire alarm systems.
2. Experience with security systems, including alarms and video components.
