Tully Rinckey PLLC, a successful full-service law firm with offices throughout the country is seeking an experienced Criminal Defense attorney to join our Latham, NY team.
Qualifications:
The ideal attorney will have 2-3 years of experience defending clients at the federal, state and local level. This is an opportunity for those looking to further grow and expand their Criminal Defense practice inside the White Plains legal market and work with peers across New York State who are AV rated, ranked by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers for their skills and results in the practice.
Compensation is based on experience. Lateral Partners will be rewarded for origination and/or portable business. Sole practitioner candidates with a background in Criminal Law are highly encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in New York State and SDNY and bar license is in good standing.
- A minimum of two years of experience in representing individuals in Criminal Defense matters
- Litigation, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
Candidates must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York, licensed in good standing. Interested candidates should provide a resume and compensation request.
Compensation & Benefits
Beginning January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys at Tully Rinckey PLLC receive a starting salary of $120,000, along with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses of up to 60% of base salary, rewarding productivity, excellence, and client impact. Employees will also receive access to a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:

- Three weeks of paid time off after 18 months of full-time employment.

Compensation ranges:
Associate Level – $120, $140,000.00
Partner Level – $140, $175,000.00
