Position SummaryStudy Group's International Study Center ( ISC ) is seeking ESL adjunct instructors to teach non-credit English for Academic Purposes ( EAP ) courses in the areas of Reading, Writing, Grammar and Academic Skills, Listening/Speaking, and Study Skills in an intensive English program; and in courses such as College Life, Critical Thinking, and US Culture.
Students are enrolled in a university pathway program at our Chicago/Millennium Park location, with Summer Session courses beginning on 5/18/2015 and ending on 7/31/2015.
The term will be preceded by faculty orientation and mentoring the week of May 11, and followed by a grading period the week of August 3.
All courses take place during the day, Monday through Friday, meeting for a total of 5.5 hours per week. These courses are tentatively scheduled M W F, or Tu Th, between the hours of 8:45 and 3:30.(Classes are not held on Memorial Day, May 25, or on July 3.) Instructors will work under the supervision of and report to Study Group ISC's Center Director and Head of English.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience living and working overseas, and knowledge and experience of second languages and cultures is highly desired.
