- Assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy services according to the patient's individualized plan of care
- Assist in the implementation of appropriate treatment plans and carry out related programs and activities
- Instruct patients and families in appropriate care and use of braces, crutches, canes, prosthetic devices, and wheelchairs
- Report any changes in the patient's condition to the Physical Therapist
- Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Physical Therapist
- Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner
- Physical Therapy Assistant PTA Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of work assignment
- Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant PTA preferred, although new grads are encouraged to apply
