City Wide seeks Sales Executive trainees to join our growing B2B sales division.

City Wide, the nation's leading management company in the building maintenance industry, provides solutions to various issues clients face at their facilities. In this position, you will serve the Central New Jersey office, one of more than 70 markets across the United States and Canada.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable prospecting and generating sales leads with prospective clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones to fill the sales pipeline.

What is required of you as a Sales Executive Trainee?

You are a strong hunter and can easily explain the activity levels needed to maintain a full pipeline and reach your goals. You should be proud of your numbers and eager to tell us how your sales results make you the best candidate to join our growing team.

Essential Functions

Must be able to describe City Wide's solutions and services, appeal to potential clients, and answer customer questions regarding our services.
Self-generate sales leads by making a combination of sales calls, e-mails, and drop-in visits per day for potential customers and new businesses.
Setting up 8-12 qualified appointments and visiting potential customers for new business.
Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience.
Conduct market research to identify businesses that would benefit from City Wide's services.
Must be able to manage and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (Microsoft Dynamics), including – scheduled calls, updated client records, notes from each call, and appointments set.

Working Conditions

Not a work-from-home in the office with a great team in a great location.
Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm (no weekends)
Business casual dress
Team environment (the whole team is invested in helping you be successful)

Requirements

High school diploma, college degree preferred.
6 months to 2 years outside sales experience (B2B preferred)
Must have a "hunter sales" mentality and demonstrate an ability to be persistent, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be motivated to succeed.
Ability to achieve or exceed monthly activity and lead-generated metrics to achieve revenue targets as set by Management.
Detailed-oriented, excellent time management, and must be able to work independently.
Customer service-oriented and highly effective communication skills.
Strong with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
