- Greet & welcome all arriving guests
- Escort diners to tables & assign servers
- Answer telephones
- Create & maintain waitlist for dining area
- Knowledge of Open Course reservation system: Make, cancel, change, and or add notes to a reservation. Close out or open a meal period.
- Knowledge and of Silverware: Open, enter, close and Void a check.
- Must have current Food Handlers Card.
- Monitors reservations and assists in reservation table assignments.
- Ensures guests are greeted quickly and graciously, seated at a clean and properly set table within the shortest amount of time possible.
- Communicates vital information clearly with service staff, bussing staff and kitchen.
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness of dining room, restroom and perimeter of restaurant.
- Properly completes all involvement with the guest service sequences.
- May offer assistance to guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refills beverages.
- Continually cleans and organizes menus and dining room reception area throughout shift.
- Checks side-work schedule for the day and completes assigned duties.
- Checks high chairs and booster seats for cleanliness.
