- Evaluates and develops onboarding processes to improve onboarding experience for new hire providers or locums, specifically around appropriate Epic charging workflows and revenue cycle responsibilities.
- Must have refined interpersonal skills to effectively interact with physicians and physician leaders
- Works collaboratively with revenue cycle and market leadership to identify opportunities in workflow processes to support market KPIs as it relates to front end revenue cycle responsibilities
- Works closely with revenue cycle and market leadership to identify opportunities to develop and implement new operational workflows to maximize efficiency and optimize revenue
- Evaluates and develops referral management processes in accordance with system preferences and workflow processes to ensure maximum efficiency and to optimize collections
- Supports education and training of managers and associates in collaboration with revenue cycle owners and applications. (i.e., EHR system, Billing and Coding, Patient Access, etc.)
- Evaluates and develops workflow processes to minimize registration errors associated with preventable first pass and final denials
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate educational activities related to physician coding, data collection, procedure development, and workflow optimization.
- Supports identified challenges within practices and collaboratively works with appropriate system support teams to find resolution and create/implement effective workflows
- Supports special projects/assignments as required by revenue cycle and market leadership
- Maintains understanding and working knowledge of systems related to medical group operations and revenue cycle initiatives
- Provides Ad Hoc reporting as needed to support leadership

Education

2 Year/ Associates Degree (preferred)
Work Experience
3 years medical operations, revenue cycle or related field (required)
5 years medical operations, revenue cycle or related field (preferred)
Skills
Knowledge of Epic EHR & RCM systems and associated data mining preferred
Coding certification or prior coding and billing experience preferred
Detailed understanding of revenue cycle workflows and concepts
Knowledge of medical office procedures including use of EHR, patient flow, provider charging, billing, and coding concepts, referrals, onboarding of providers preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom preferred
Strong time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Positive, confident virtual presence
Demonstrates ability to work independently and as a team
Organized and highly motivated
