    JOB SUMMARY

    This role involves clerical tasks in the Transportation department, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Gather, organize and process driver paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc.
    • Handle phone calls, messages, and driver issues.
    • Research and address truck shortages.
    • Support delivery associate problem resolution.
    • Maintain driver qualification files as per DOT guidelines.
    • Monitor driver logs and violations.
    • Generate reports for supervisors.
    • Review Drive Cam Events.
    • Assist in New Driver DOT Training.
    • Perform tasks as delegated by management.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience

    • 2 years' distribution/transportation experience preferred.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Valid Driver License.

    Professional Skills

    • Strong leadership, analytical, and motivational skills.
    • Familiarity with DOT regulations.
    • Effective written and verbal communication.
    • Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word.
    • Experience with Manpower scheduling.

    Physical Demands

    • Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, lifting up to 40 pounds, and specific vision abilities.
