A behavioral health facility in California needs a general adult psychiatrist. This position is for an adult inpatient unity and adult partial hospitalization program.

Responsibilities include admission evaluations, daily care of assigned patients in the programs, treatment team leadership, and interaction with administrative and clinical staff.

The schedule is full time, seeing an average of 15 to 20 patients per day. There will also be a 1:6 weekend call and weeknight call required.

They welcome candidates that are board certified or board eligible in general psychiatry with an MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
