    One product disseminates personalized messages and leverages the power of tailored rewards to reduce medical appointment no-shows. Another supports language development, early literacy, and home-school connections through an online multilingual education platform where children and adults can read stories together in customized blends of two languages. Another enables health systems to address language barriers and provide the best care for patients with limited English proficiency through cutting-edge products to train, recognize, and support bilingual healthcare professionals.

    To help our client enter the next growth phase, they seek an experienced Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to join their team. In this pivot role, you will amplify the go-to-market efforts for their innovative products, galvanize their multidisciplinary team with an empowered narrative, and drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. As a master strategist and proven doer, you will shape the marketing and communications operations and build a robust team over time.

    While our client is headquartered in NYC, this position can be remote within the United States.

    Expected Industry Experience:

    As our client's ideal candidate, you should possess deep knowledge in one of the following industry domains:

  • Startups and startup incubators/accelerators
  • Ed-tech for professional development and/or K-12 learning
  • Digital health, SaaS applications for healthcare and population health
  • Second language acquisition, preferably through technology-mediated meansTo Thrive, You Also Should Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications roles, with proven industry experience from healthcare and K-12 education backgrounds.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Applied Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable track record working in a high-velocity environment, delivering high-impact content regularly on tight deadlines, and steadfast adherence to a rigorous quality assurance process.
  • Deep understanding of the unique dynamics, trends, and regulatory requirements within the healthcare and education sectors, particularly about technology adoption and purchasing decisions.
  • Strong mentorship and management skills, with the ability to build a high-performing team and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, expertly applied to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools; expertise in leveraging social media platforms to grow enterprise customers' acquisition, conversion, retention, and LTV.Your Specific Responsibilities as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communication Will Include:

    Strategic Planning

  • Develop tailored marketing and communications strategies for our target audiences — including communities of diverse socio-linguistic backgrounds, professionals who serve those communities, and executives who lead our client organizations — in the healthcare and education sectors.
  • Maintain a robust calendar of webinars, thought leadership publications, case studies, conference presentations, demo videos, and related materials aligned with our product release roadmap.
  • Maintain alignment with strategic goals via a marketing roadmap, track performance through reports and dashboards, monitor our marketing budget, and continuously optimize ROI metrics.Sales Enablement
  • Collaborate with our Sales, Research, and Product teams to turbocharge customer acquisition and retention and consistently deliver on a robust MQL pipeline.
  • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, client site visits, and other on-ground activation efforts as applicable to support the Sales and Customer Success operations.
  • Utilize SEO, website analytics, content marketing, and A/B testing to drive digital traffic and convert prospects. Methodically analyze marketing data and user feedback to continuously improve and replicate at scale.Brand Management
  • Cultivate relationships with industry influencers, thought leaders, brand partners, and media outlets to generate positive press coverage, secure co-branding opportunities, and elevate our company's and SaaS solutions' visibility.
  • Support our Founder in telling our genesis story and proselytizing our mission through media coverage, industry awards and recognitions, and speaking engagements.
  • Continuously manage and monitor social media platforms, user forums, and media mentions to maintain a favorable public image for our corporate identity and product-specific brand names.Best-in-Class Benefits:
