- Complete dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins.
- Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening, feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and assess levels of recession. Expose radiographic studies as needed.
