    Payroll Tax Operations (Internship)

    Immerse, Explore, and Impact the Universe of Payment Solutions by expressing your interest in the Global Payments 2024 Summer Internship Program.     Summary

    Heartland's Tax Operations team is looking for a promising entrepreneur to join our strong team for Summer 2024 As an intern for the Tax, Compliance & Risk team, you will work in a high paced, team oriented environment. The work will surround various tasks relating to tax preparation and maintenance spanning over all fifty states, research and analyzing payroll compliance topics, and assessing credit/risk profiles of Heartland customers.

    Your contributions will impact our organization and your feedback and ideas will be welcome.

    What will you be doing?

    • Data input and validation
    • Analyze and reconcile records
    • Ability to think critically about processes
    • Support team environment
    • Conduct research and resolution to payroll tax related matters
    • Provide excellence in client service both internal and external

    What are the requirements?

    • Rising Sophomore to Graduate Student currently enrolled in a college or university
    • Detail oriented
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Ability to multitask
    • Excellent verbal and written communications
    • Willingness to learn new skills
    • Familiarity with Google programs and email
