Job summary
We are seeking a Lab Assistant – Clinical Labs to:Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages and ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.
Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel,- Complete specimen receiving and processing,
- load them onto instruments or perform the kit testing,
- and associated instrument maintenance (temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing, mailing,faxing).
