    CommQuest seeks a Care Coordinator-Criminal Justice. This role ensures judges and parole officers know the precise status of their referrals at any point in the process. Help to resolve issues in a quick and timely manner to insure excellent service to the court and client. Responsible for the coordination of services with internal and external resources to facilitate treatment and overcome barriers to treatment for clients. Works in close partnership with clinical team and other staff to ensure best client care and access to treatment. Also provide additional administrative support to same-day access assessments for people with opioid addiction and support for other clinicians and leaders involved in our recovery services.

    What you'll do:

    • Must demonstrate knowledge of addiction, community sober supports, assessments, treatment plans, and counseling.
    • Improve access to Care. Outreach to managed care coordinators to identify barriers to client success and to gather materials needed to connect clients with services.
    • Requires experience working with adults/children with severe mental illness, and/or addiction recovery, and strong communication skills.
    • Orients clients to the facilities treatment philosophy and programs, including rules and client rights.
    • All other duties as assigned

    Schedule:

    Candidates much be unemployed for the past six months to qualify for grant. This is a Temporary (1 year), Full-Time position, Canton/Massillon campus locations.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED; Some college preferred
    • Previous experience working in a clinical practice in the chemical dependency field highly preferred.
    • CDCA highly desired.
    • Must possess the ability to work with the public in general, at time of crisis situations, and under pressure while maintaining common sense and the ability to assess the situation quickly to respond to the vulnerable population CommQuest helps. Must be able to communicate with clients, visitors, staff, etc. using compassion and understanding.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, intermediate verbal and written communication skills, ability to show discretion when dealing with confidential information, good judgment, and organizational skills. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
    • Must be physically able to stand and climb steps throughout the facility frequently according to shift responsibilities. Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a driving record that is in compliance with agency insurance requirements. Must pass background check in accordance with agency standards.
