    EnTech is currently seeking a "Resident Engineer" to join us full time.

    About the Role This specialized Resident Engineer position is tailored for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural, engineering, construction, or related technical fields.

    Offering an opportunity to apply extensive expertise in team leadership, inspections, project oversight, quality control, collaboration, and more, the role is dynamic and multifaceted.

    Engaging directly in all aspects of construction projects, the focus lies on interior building fit outs, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire alarms.

    The primary objective is to seamlessly integrate these specialized elements within construction activities.

    As a Resident Engineer with a decade of hands-on experience, the role mandates active participation in every project facet, emphasizing hands-on work related to the specified areas.

    Additionally, it involves overseeing and guiding construction teams to ensure the successful execution of these elements in alignment with New York City Agency standards.

    The Resident Engineer will play a pivotal role in upholding high-quality construction practices and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.


    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Pre-Construction contract review Daily inspection and supervision Review, record, and track all submittals Monitoring Contract Cost and Schedule Documentation of Contractor Performance QA/QC reviews and compliance Prepare all necessary reports including daily, weekly, and project progress reports Work with the client and Construction Contractor in expediting solutions to technical field problems Project team coordination for all construction submittals, and timely delivery of responses to all construction RFI's, CO's, etc.

    Coordinate with Lead Design Engineer and Design Team discipline leads on all design changes and construction submittals Participate in the negotiation of change orders specific to design changes Manage and Document all meetings on site including site meetings and coordination meeting Required Qualifications:
    A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or Registered Architect or NYS Professional Engineer License Minimum of 10 years' experience in Construction Technology/Construction Management or Architecture/Engineering Minimum of 5 years of New York City Agency experience and working knowledge of infrastructure projects, NYCDPR paperwork and relevant NYC and/or State Standard Specifications Familiarity in interior building fit outs, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and fire alarms A positive attitude and good work ethic Excellent communication skills Location: New York City, NY

    Estimated Annual Compensation:
