    We are pipelining candidates for a future role.
    Contingent upon Contract Award Valiant is seeking an Information Systems Technologist I for W-TRS.


    Potential locations could include:

    California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea and potential additional CONUS locations.

    Essential job duties include but are not limited to:


    • Assists the customer by operating TADSS and providing familiarization training/support, primarily at the Range Operations Center (ROC)
    • Assists in planning and scheduling work requirements and conducts or assists in briefings and tour of site to all senior officers, training units and civilian personnel, including foreign dignitaries on official business

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintains and files monthly reports on utilization, types of training conducted, number of soldiers trained, availability, and any issue or concerns from the customer.
    • Remains current on TADSS to provide train-the-trainer training and support in exercises.
    • Researches and assists in writing technical and user manuals to support training
    • Works with engineering, technical support, and/or applicable area to ensure that material is accurate and reflects current product features
    • Prepares recommendations and reports to senior level personnel and/or management; Implements approved revisions to course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness
    • Reviews, as requested, external training programs to determine feasibility of purchase as requested
    • Makes recommendations to management as appropriate; Works with senior level personnel and business units/technical areas to conduct needs assessments to ensure training needs and all other requirements are met
    • Maintain system at specified operational readiness rates; Document all maintenance actions by inputting data into the ISTS; Assist in maintaining Government and contractor property, tools and test equipment
    • Perform inspections and accountability of property
    • Assists logistics IAW contract requirements and work processes
    • Provide telephonic and onsite support for the systems
    • Conduct Security Audits, built-in tests, and system diagnostics
    • Administer, develop, run tests on, implement, and maintains network and related software; Implement Security Updates
    • Configure network devices, communications devices, and peripheral equipment to operate within designated networks
    • Troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and networking problems
    • Maintain strong attention to detail
    • May be required to support other devices and will be cross trained, as needed
    • Provide any developmental and safety training that associates need
    • May be required to supervise, coordinate, and manage administrative, logistic, personnel and safety-related requirements
    • Participates in special projects as required
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Mental/Physical requirements for this role include:

    • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
    • Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
    • Willing to work a flexible workweek.
    • Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privileges.
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
    • This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Associate degree in computer science or other Engineering or Math or 3+ years relevant professional work experience.
    • Solid understanding of Microsoft, Linux or Solaris operating systems and networking US citizenship is required.
    • Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance

    Desired Skills:
