We are seeking highly motivated Design Technology Engineer to join our PT (Practice Technology) team, become an integral part of the Clayco family, and help write the next chapters of a growing enterprise thats transforming the business of design and construction.

    As a member of the Practice Technology team, you will be involved in a range of activities throughout a projects lifecycle that are dependent on the successful use of advanced technologies and processes. These form the foundation of our Digital Technology Practice and enable Practice Technology to improve the way we design and build our projects constantly. Yours will be a critical innovation and process support role with the opportunity to become one of our industry experts.

    Design Technology Managers work closely with our in-house architects and engineers and a range of Clayco teams to ensure we digitally transform the delivery of our projects while developing working relationships with owners, project teams, and subcontractors.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Deep expertise in BIM, empowering others with your knowledge

    Innovative mindset to integrate technology seamlessly into our processes

    Championing design thinking through adaptive technology utilization

    Essential contribution to project lifecycles

    Lead training initiatives on software platforms like Revit, Dynamo, Infraworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.

    Provide ongoing support and tackle issues through bi-weekly training sessions

    Facilitate external training on specialized topics

    Drive synergy between generative design and sustainability principles

    Integrate building performance analysis into the design process

    Implement process automation and distributed computing

    Advocate for streamlined software evaluation and implementation

    Offer technical support for visualization applications such as 3DS Max, Enscape, Twin Motion, Lumion, Unreal Engine

    Develop and maintain rendering assets

    Collaborate with project teams to enhance visualization practices

    Engage in technology user groups and present at conferences

    Experiment with gaming engines and digital twin development

    Explore and showcase new tools for future adoption

    Enhance standards and templates for software applications

    Collaborate with IT to optimize infrastructure performance

    Manage ACC processes for architecture and engineering

    Qualifications:

    3 to 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry

    Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering

    Minimum 3+ years' experience with VDC/BIM processes

    Licensed Architect or on a path to licensure preferred

    Proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite

    Familiarity with generative design and reality capture

    Strong problem-solving and communication skills

    Collaborative and proactive approach
