    Inventory Strategy Analyst I

    The Inventory Strategy Analyst I is responsible for the processes and continuous improvement projects related to reducing inventory costs across the organization and assisting new plant startups with purchasing spare parts. The Inventory Strategy Analyst I applies knowledge of the existing processes to identify areas where improvement/streamlining is necessary and works collaboratively with other members of the Inventory Control team as well as other key CORP stakeholders, plant parts room teams, and suppliers for process development and execution.

    Essential Functions

    • Oversee the purchasing/sourcing of critical spares for new lines/plant startups
      • Partner with various suppliers to ensure we have the adequate recommended spare parts onsite prior to the VLM (Vertical Life Module) installation and/or line installation.
    • Collaborate with other plant parts room teams to explore internal sourcing opportunities for spare parts to initiate inventory reduction
    • Solicit feedback from plant teams and suppliers to identify critical spares and ensure we have enough safety stock in the network
    • Drive new process development/execution related to inventory control and assist with the testing and rollout, including reviewing the process during parts room calls and creating SOPs
    • Facilitate technical troubleshooting with plant parts room teams with reference to issues related to inventory and purchasing
    • Keep track of inventory control related KPIs/dashboards and effectively convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Qualifications:
      • 0-1 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
      • 0-1 Years – Experience in Position
      • 0-1 Years – Experience managing people/projects

    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • 2 Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
      • 2 Years – Experience working in Position
      • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects

    Competencies

    • Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, etc)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (word, powerpoint, and excel)
    • Previous experience with Oracle, or other ERP system, preferred)
    • Strong skills in critical thinking, problem solving, & multitasking

    Education

    • Minimum Required:
      • Associate's Degree or other related field
    • Preferred:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Operations/Supply Chain or other related field

    Certification/License:

    • Required: N/A
    • Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

    Pay Rate Type: Salary$65, $85,799.00 / Yearly
