    Embark on an exciting journey by joining our team as the Grant Writer and spearhead the trajectory of Bebashi Transition To Hope. As the driving force behind our grant acquisition efforts, you will assume a pivotal role in securing financial support, crafting compelling proposals, and amplifying our organization's influence. We are in search of a visionary grant writer with a fervor for social change and a proven track record in nonprofit development.

    As a Grant Writer at Bebashi, you will collaborate with the development team and other departments, actively engaging in the communication and promotion of our mission. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating the entire spectrum of activities needed to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals. Working under the guidance of the Development Director, you will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding the organization's funding from various external sources.

    Experience and Skills
    • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3-5 years in nonprofit organizations, public relations, marketing, sales, communication, or project management. Preferred experience in corporate fundraising or workplace giving, along with familiarity with community foundations.
    • Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Donor Management Systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge or Team Approach) is highly desirable.
    Other Requirements:
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
    • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and data management.
    • Strong customer service orientation, demonstrating the ability to work effectively within a team.
    • Proven initiative, ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities with sound judgment.
    • Operational flexibility to address sudden and unpredictable business needs.
    • Track record of successfully producing grant proposals for public and/or private funding.
    • Ability to excel in an innovative, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment.
